In Ontario, Canada, alcohol is state controlled, like in Sweden and some other countries in the world. Alcohol can only be bought from state run liquor stores. This store here just sells beer; customers place their order after entering the store and their purchase is delivered from the back on a conveyor belt, reminiscent of an airport security x-ray machine. Though this concept does its best, it takes any kind of pleasurable experience away from the purchase of alcohol, however one benefit is that the store also serves as a drop of point for empty bottle and promotes recycling.
